Sipho Mangesi is a seasoned Commercial Pilot and Flight Instructor with 15 years’ experience in general aviation. He is also a founder of I Fly Aviation and a member of the Board of Directors of the Afrikan Peer Growth Network (APGroN). He has trained pilots throughout South Africa and Malawi and has served as Head of Training and Chief Pilot at Flytech. Mangesi is a Commander on the Let410. He boasts good diplomatic skills and experience flying the L410, operating in different countries throughout the Afrikan continent.
Mangesi leads Flying Jurist’s efforts to expand its footprint beyond Africa. His expertise in flight operations, training, and international aviation regulations positions Flying Jurist as a key player in cross-border aviation solutions.
Mangesi is also a Social Activist and philanthropist with a demonstrated history of working to inspire/encourage and to give hope to under privileged communities. In a bid to plant passion and awareness for aviation among young people he has been travelling Africa giving disadvantaged learners an opportunity to fly for the first time in their lives. He has under his belt endorsement by etv and eNCA as a South African hero, in recognition of the work he has done in the sector in the past.
