For the majority of African children, the thought of being in an aircraft is a pie in the sky (pun intended). Many have never been close to, or touched an aircraft, let alone be inside one. This project seeks to introduce African children to the field of aviation from a very age through giving them a taste of flight. This is our Intro Flight Programme. We work in collaboration with many stakeholders in the flight training sector to make this programme a success.
Our major partner in this endeavour is the Afrikan Peer Growth Network (APGroN) which came on board upon seeing the huge gap for mentorship in the aviation space. APGroN mainly operates in the higher education sector to create opportunities for peer-to-peer mentorship and empowerment.
